Private Lessons, Semi-Private Lessons and Group Clinics are all offered to individuals of all ages. Racket stringing, racket rental and ball machine rental are all services which are also offered.

 

For every one hour Private Lessons, clients receive one hour free on the ball machine which can be scheduled based on availability within a week of the lesson. The ball machine is a great tool which can be used to have a great workout as well as to improve any new techniques which have been learned. The fact that students can practice what they have been taught is truly what's unique about Chris' program here at First Service Tennis.

 

When taking lessons with Head Pro Christopher Karen, students are provided time to practice their strokes. Practice time is included in the cost of the lesson. My students grow because they practice. 

Private Lessons: Only $60 an hour including one FREE hour on ball machine

Semi Private Lessons (Bring a friend): $35 each per hour

Group Clinics: $25 each per hour

Ball Machine Rental: $25 per hour

Racket Stringing: $15+

Christopher Karen is a USPTA certified Tennis Pro who has over 15 years of competitive playing experience as well as 9 years teaching experience. Chris began playing tennis at the age of 6 and was a ranked junior between the ages of 10 to 18. 

Located just off of the Pacific Coast Highway at Eaves by Avalon in sunny Seal Beach, the facility includes a Pro Shop as well as four beautiful tennis courts. It truly is a facility to behold. If you are looking for a great workout, fun on the court, and an improvement in your game, you certainly will not regret visiting this gorgeous tennis facility for a great learning experience.

 

The community is very friendly, warm and clean and the environment is calm and quiet. In short, it is the perfect atmosphere for tennis regardless of the time of year or hour of the day. Lessons are available between 7 am and 10 pm.

Head Pro Chris has taught tennis in Montreal, Canada, Marina Del Rey, California as well as his current location in Seal Beach, California. Chris manages his own Pro Shop and maintains the four hard courts on site. Chris enjoys working with beginners, intermediate and advanced players of all ages. 

 

Every player is different. Chris' goal is to bring out the best in each individual while keeping the learning environment fun and exciting. Chris believes that tennis is truly a sport for a lifetime.  Clients have varied in age from 2 years old to 95 years young.
